A Korean pantry staple, Ssamjang is the sauce we use to take our BBQ experiences to the next level.
Its flavour profile has the best of both worlds: a delicious blend of fermented soybean paste(doenjang) and red chilli powder, combined with our secret ingredient (a hit of vegan mayonnaise!). Meaning our sauce is a natural vegan!
An authentic fermented Korean sauce, Ssamjang has just the right amount of kick, which adds a depth of flavour to grilled meats and vegetables like nothing else. It’s so flavoursome, no additional seasoning is required.
Although it’s best known as a BBQ marinade, we like to use it to dress salads and dip snacks — it’s simply good with everything!
